Does the Tabernacle of Moses hold any meaning for believers today? Yes! It is not merely a historical building, but rather holds much significance for you and me. The Lord told Moses “let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.” It reveals the heart of God – to have intimate union and fellowship with His people. In this anointed study, Dr. Bailey expounds on the many hidden truths in the Tabernacle of Moses, leading us through the spiritual experiences of the Outer Court, the Holy Place, and into the very presence of God in the Holy of Holies. Studying these truths enables believers to gain a deeper understanding of His ways that we might make our dwelling place “under the shadow of the Almighty.”

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God ... And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us ... (John 1: 1, 14) Very few Christians actually comprehend the depth of meaning contained within this text of Scripture. When John wrote that the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, he was saying much more than most of us have any idea. In this thorough yet easy-to-understand study, Isaac Dargan demonstrates that Jesus Christ truly is the Word made flesh, through the examination of the Brazen Alter - the first of six items of furniture contained within the Tabernacle of Moses. This book will show how everything within the written Word of God is intricately connected to the work of Jesus Christ and his church, down to the tiniest of details. In addition, it will strengthen your faith and give you great increase in your understanding of the Holy Scriptures. Isaac B. Dargan is a Biblical teacher who has been greatly gifted, by God, with the ability to uncover and explain the deepest of mysteries found in the Word of God. He served ten years in the United States Marines, were he learned invaluable skills in verbal communication. After honorably discharging from the military, Mr. Dargan became very driven to understand the things of God. Through much prayer and study, an abundance of revelations were given unto him. This book contains a small portion of these revelations. Mr. Dargan is the founder of Deep Waters Ministry which is located in Lamar, South Carolina.

It is a practical, in-depth, and engaging work that examines in detail the Old Testament Tabernacle and gleans from every aspect of its story, a connection with Jesus Christ. The author has journeyed back into time and takes us along to where he uncovers amazing and revealing connections between the old tabernacle with all its bloodshed, and the work of Jesus Christ on the cross at Golgotha. The Tabernacle of Moses is an intensely transformative work; it reveals long hidden secrets whose discovery introduces our hearts to truth we have never known and pours into our understanding immensely revealing connections that leave no doubt as to why the Tabernacle of Moses was a necessary prerequisite for the work of our Messiah, Jesus Christ. Written for both Christians and non-Christians seeking biblical understanding, The Tabernacle of Moses is a guide for greater comprehension of both Old and New Testament scriptures. Through this Old Testament portable sanctuary where God chose to live on earth among His people, we are afforded a close up view of Israel’s journey from bondage in Egypt to freedom through the Red Sea. As the Israelites moved towards the Promised Land, the book explains how God uses this tabernacle, and ultimately the entire Bible, to teach through types, shadows, and symbolism, the importance of this structure in the development of the religious life of Israel and in the believer’s life today. This work seeks to help us understand how the redeeming work of Jesus Christ is made possible based on the Tabernacle of Moses.

This manuscript was previously published in 1990 by Alive Ministries as a Bible conference guide. This version includes significant revisions. You will find the principles here dynamic. This is not your typical tabernacle book. "The tabernacle," Small says "is a template for prayer and worship, a kind of roadmap into God's presence, a call for balance in prayer and worship." There is an old saying that testifies to the relationship between the Testaments: "The New is in the Old concealed; and the Old is in the New revealed." When the New Testament writers penned their histories and letters, they referenced the Law, the Prophets, and the Wisdom Literature of the Old Testament. The New Testament is rooted in the Old Testament. It is hardly understood without it. Paul says to the Romans that the things "written before were written for our learning" (Romans 15:4, NKJV). In the first letter to Corinth, he calls the events of the Old Testament "examples... written for our admonition" (10:6, 11). The Law and the Tabernacle, both given at the same time and on the same mountain, are a "schoolmaster" to bring us to Christ (Galatians 3:24). Jesus reminds us, "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill it" (Matthew 5:17). The Old was a shadow of the things to come. It is in the New revealed.

In this very important work, the author emphasizes that God's original purpose was to communicate the life, ministry, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ to Israel. God wanted His people to know that they could not worship Him unless they were saved. Thus, the message of salvation and the Savior features prominently in the Tabernacle outline. The whole proposal of the Tabernacle was hinged upon the pivot of God's desire to dwell with His people. The author explains how we derived the language of Redemption from the Tabernacle. Concepts such as grace, mercy, peace, atonement, love, justification, sanctification, to mention a few, all stem from the Tabernacle. The ultimate purpose of the book is to arm Christians with the vital knowledge that we are God's Tabernacles on earth today. The book is a must-read for any believer who wants to understand worship deeper and become a better worshipper. The author's knowledge of the relevance of the Tabernacle to our modern-day worship is highly commendable. This is a very serious work on one of Christianity's greatest disciplines. Get the book!

This book explores the cultic-military functions of the tabernacle in the biblical narrative from the exodus to the conquest. Previous studies in this area have focused almost exclusively on the 'cultic' functions of the tabernacle and have been confined to a limited range of texts (Exodus 25-31; 35-40). The originality of this book is that it discusses a much more extensive range of material. Insights drawn from this broader perspective highlight the tabernacle's role in the military domain. The Tabernacle in the Narrative History of Israel from the Exodus to the Conquest is a distinct addition to knowledge of a much-neglected area of Old Testament research.

In college, Galen studied physics and mathematics, and grew indifferent and hostile toward the Christian faith. Along with the French mathematician Laplace, Galan believed God was no longer a necessary hypothesis. After additional studies, Galan began to long for deep, satisfying connections and meaning in his young life. Through the moving testimony of a friend in school, Galan began to read the Bible with renewed eyes, and eventually returned to church. As he became more involved in the ministry of his home church, Galan sensed God's calling. During his theological studies, Galan fell in love with the Old Testament and understood the Old Testament as the key for understanding the New Testament.

Using 20 plus years of engineering experience, prayer and the Bible, each item in the Tabernacle is discussed on both physical and spiritual terms. How did Israel know what materials, tools and items were required from Egypt? How did the parts fit together? What are the meanings of the symbols and how do they fit together in the plan of salvation? What did they point to?
